As usual, Daikin surprises us year after year with his new catalogue. In this case, as it could not be otherwise, we already have available the new Daikin 2014 tariff.

Daikin has always been known for launching new air conditioning equipment on the market, including the latest technology, advances and even new unique bets in the market such as the new Ururu Sarara domestic air conditioning units, the first domestic air conditioning unit with R-32 refrigerant gas that achieves a reduction of up to 68% in the capacity of global warming. This commitment to a more ecological gas translates into greater respect for the environment and in the case of Spain, a reduction in the rate or tax set by the state on fluorinated gases, since this tax is based on the global warming capacity of the gas to set the total price of the tax; the less global warming capacity, the less tax and the more savings if we have to make a gas charge in our air conditioner.

After this small preview, we are going to see the most important news that this new Daikin 2014 tariff brings.

Domestic range

Ururu Sarara

As we have mentioned before, the Ururu Sarara series arrives and is available in three powers, the TXZ25N set consisting of the indoor FTXZ25N unit and the outdoor RXZ25N unit with a power of 2500 watts or what is the same, 2150 frigories of nominal power and its big brothers, the set TXZ35N (FTXZ35N + RXZ35N) of 3500 watts of nominal power and the most powerful, the TXZ50N unit with its indoor unit FTXZ50N and the outdoor unit RXZ50N. These, apart from the novelty in the type of gas used (R-32), provide us with magnificent energy coefficients of A+++ both hot and cold and in the three available powers. The exclusive Daikin flash streamer technology that provides humidity and air renewal from the outside and the wireless technology to control the unit from any smartphone (optional).

Emura II

One step below, but not less interesting, is the new version of the successful Emura series, the new, renewed and improved Emura II series.

The Emura II is characterized at first sight by its beautiful curved design and the possibility of choosing between two finishes or colors: white and silver. By the integration of the wireless control system WiFi (not included as standard), the intelligent sensor of presence that makes the unit to put in energy saving mode by detecting the lack of presence of people and is also capable of directing the flow of air to the hottest areas of the room to be air-conditioned with the consequent energy savings that this can produce.

The Emura II series is available in four powers and two finishes for each power: FTXG20LW (2000W); FTXG25LW (2500W); FTXG35LW (3500W) and the most powerful unit, the FTXG50LW (5000W) in the white finish and the FTXG20LS, FTXG25LS, FTXG35LS and FTXG50LS for the silver finish.

In the Daikin 2014 air conditioning catalogue and the domestic range we find more new products such as the K/G series with a variety of power ratings ranging from the 2000 W of the TXS20K model of the smallest unit to the TXS71G unit, the most powerful with a nominal power of 7100 W and the new Nexura floor unit with its new unique technology in the radiant panel market with which we can have a more pleasant heating with the minimum noise level.

Commercial range or Sky Air

In Daikin’s commercial range we find many and varied novelties, expansion of versions and powers in the Sky Air Seasonal Classic duct units and in their counterparts the Cassette units, the integration of the presence sensor and floor sensor for the latter. The new Sky Air low-silhouette range with powers ranging from 2400 W to 6000 W in the duct units and from 2500 W to 5700 in the Cassette units of this same range, new powers in the horizontal ceiling units with the inclusion of the HQS35C, HQS50C and HQS60C models.

Ventilation

In the ventilation section, the Daikin 2014 catalogue brings us the new range of direct expansion air conditioners for outdoor air treatment, the new DAHU range with a revolutionary new design that is unique in the market and achieves enormous energy savings thanks to its new high-efficiency motors with EC technology. These units are available from 1500 m3/h to 18000 m3/h of air flow, achieving up to 59% recovery efficiency in the DAHU100 model.

VRV or variable refrigerant flow

Within the wide range offered by Daikin in terms of variable refrigerant flow units or VRV, the power range of the industrial outdoor units is extended to 150 KW nominal power in its VRV IV version and the water-cooled outdoor units are introduced with the RWEYQ8T and RWEYQ10T models with up to 28 KW nominal cooling power.

Coolers

As for the coolers, Daikin continues to have the widest range on the market in both air-water and water-water units, with both inverter, magnetic levitation and centrifugal units and a power of up to 9000 KW in the latter.

Heating

Finally, in the heating range we find a very wide range of possibilities thanks to Daikin Altherma which extends its models in this new catalogue Daikin 2014 thanks to the inclusion of the new range Daikin Altherma Hybrid and Daikin Altherma Geothermal.
